About us:

The Rosebriar Shakespeare Company has been a player on the Columbus theatre scene since 1990. Rosebriar produced its first plays at Whetstone Recreation Center. In 1993, RSC moved downtown to the S.S. Davis Discovery Center's Van Fleet Theatre, currently the Columbus Performing Arts Center. In 2006, Rosebriar moved to the Town Hall in the Village of Groveport, Ohio and joined the TheatreRoundtable.

RSC has performed many of Shakespeare's most challenging dramas and comedies, including Hamlet, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Richard III, and Measure for Measure. RSC has also staged the world premiers of two new plays written for the company: Tales of the Grotesque: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe and These Honorable Men: The Life and Death of John Wilkes Booth.
